The Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) Credential Committee supports the AICPA by developing and maintaining qualification requirements for credential applicants; serving as a technical advisor on the education offerings necessary to support both the CITP credential pathway and the ongoing professional development of credential holders; leading initiatives to recruit and retain CITP credential holders; and promoting the growth and demand for technology advisory services by raising awareness of the CITP credential and the CITP credential holder’s role in technology advisory
