Sherifa Clarke
MBA
Sherifa N. Clarke, MBA, is a Senior Analyst in Enterprise Operational Planning within the Office of the CFO/COO at PayPal. She drives strategic planning, engagement, operational efficiency, and governance excellence across finance and operations. Her expertise spans treasury, regulatory reporting, AI strategy, and enterprise finance transformation, including leading ESG implementation initiatives that embed sustainability and accountability into business operations. She earned her MBA with a concentration in Business Analytics and Management Information Systems. She also graduated as valedictorian of her undergraduate class and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society. A dedicated advocate for diversity in the finance/accounting profession, Sherifa is actively engaged with the Houston Professional Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA), where she supports student engagement, professional development, and community impact. She has been nationally recognized by NABA, Inc. and was a Houston “Student of Excellence” honoree. In addition to her corporate role, she speaks on AI in finance, career advancement, and leadership development, equipping the next generation of accounting and business professionals to lead with impact.
Alejandro Gonzalez
CPA
Alejandro Gonzalez is an Experienced Audit Associate at PwC, where he provides assurance services to healthcare clients across the industry. He holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting and has successfully passed all sections of the CPA Exam. Before joining PwC, Alejandro gained internship experience in public accounting, real estate, telecommunications, and healthcare, building a strong foundation in financial analysis and auditing across diverse business environments. His background allows him to bring a well-rounded perspective to client engagements and contribute effectively to solving complex accounting challenges. Passionate about the profession, Alejandro is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, technical excellence, and client service as he continues to grow in his career.
Jacqueline Jefferson
CPA, CGMA, MEd
Jacqueline Jefferson is the founder of Penn Lena, a CPA firm and wellness company focused on bringing her clients to optimal success. She most recently served as Senior Director of Internal Audit at Verizon, primarily responsible for Verizon Global Services; Public Policy, Law & Security; and the Chief Human Resources organizations. Jacqueline also held many roles within Verizon from Senior Director of Treasury and as Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for the finance division of the Global Network and Technology transformation office, resulting in optimal long-term savings in both operating and capital expenditures. Over her career at Verizon, she has held positions in the former Wireless division, Verizon Business Group and Corporate Accounting. She has spent most of her career leading teams to operational excellence and partnering with CEOs, CFOs, Controllers, Audit Teams, and International Finance Leads on thought process, preparation, and review of strategic analysis, budgeting/forecas
Jubelo Oyeniran
Jubelo Oyeniran is fueled by a passion for gratitude and a deep commitment to adding value through every avenue of his life. A proud alumnus of the AICPA Accounting Scholars Leadership Workshop (ASLW), he credits the program with sharpening his vision as both a leader and a professional. Jubelo recently graduated from Stevenson University, where he earned the institution’s highest honor, the SU Pin, while completing his degree in accounting. He now begins his professional career at RSM US LLP and is pursuing a master’s in forensic accounting as a CPA candidate. His leadership and academic journey has been nationally recognized. Jubelo was selected as an IDDEAS@Wharton Scholar, a Johns Hopkins University Consulting Case Competition winner, and a Deloitte MADE Scholar. With over three years of experience in financial statement and employee benefit plan audits, he has interned with both Citrin Cooperman and Clearview Group. He is also a MACPA Champion Student and an active member of both the AICPA and MACPA.
